Ariana Escobar (b. 1991) is an independent Venezuelan artist and product designer currently based in Madrid, Spain. With a background in design, Ariana employs meticulous hand-drawn geometric compositions and a vibrant color palette to create captivating abstract paintings. Her work is fuelled by her relationship with play, craft, and meditation in the pursuit of balance between excitement and tranquility.
Ariana began painting during the Covid lockdown in Spain, where she rekindled her early passion for painting, inspired by her father, an artist himself. Since then, she has developed an aesthetic that draws inspiration from the nostalgia of childhood toys, kinetic and surrealists artists, and a lifelong appreciation of the small pleasures.
